Job summary

Copperas Cove ISD is seeking a proactive Army Instructor (AI) to teach JROTC, motivate cadets, and promote academic excellence aligned with district policies and Army Cadet Command standards. The role emphasizes leadership development, community involvement, and high school completion support.

Qualified candidates will hold an Associate's degree, JROTC certification, and credentials per Cadet Command Regulation 145-2;Retired Army NCOs or Warrant Officers are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate JROTC program according to laws, regulations, and procedures.

• Modify instruction to accommodate differences; stay current with teaching methods.
• Follow safety guidelines in all instructional activities; assess student learning styles.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals per district requirements.
• Lead and coach JROTC teams; participate in camps and community events.
