Job summary

The E Group is seeking an Electrical Specialist SR1 for an immediate W2 contract position in Ackerman, MS. Qualifications

• 5-10 years of related experience and a Technical degree from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems.
• Perform electrician work at the journey level, including installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and controls.
• Maintain plant DC emergency battery backup systems.
• Perform 480V-13.8KV and high voltage switchyard basic electrical systems maintenance per safety practices.
• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including high voltage systems.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance for records and analysis.
• Participate in planned outages by providing technical support for maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections of electrical systems.
• Respond to emergencies at any time; work safely and in compliance with safety rules and environmental permits.
