CORTEK is seeking a Senior Joint Training Requirements Specialist to serve as the senior technical authority on a nationally distributed team supporting the National Guard Bureau's Joint Doctrine, Training and Force Development Directorate (NGB-J37). You will be the person the National Guard Bureau calls when a Joint Training Plan needs to be right, when a state's mission essential task list needs rebuilding, or when the joint training database of record needs an advocate inside the Joint Staff. You will also lead the Northeast region and serve as the alternate to the Program Manager.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
This role is based in the National Capital Region with regular on-site presence at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Virginia, and telework the remainder of the time under a Government-approved arrangement. Classified work on SIPRNet is performed on site. Travel is approximately 20 to 30 percent within the continental United States, primarily to Joint Force Headquarters in the Northeast region, to regional training workshops, and to exercises and exercise planning conferences nationwide. All travel is authorized in advance and reimbursed in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation and published Government per diem rates.
