Job summary

Chitra Productions, LLC seeks an experienced Joint Targeting Instructor / Operations Specialist II to support the Joint Targeting School (JTS) at Dam Neck Annex, NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, VA. You will deliver classroom and virtual instruction for the Joint Targeting Staff Course and serve as an SME for curriculum reviews, meetings, conferences, and working groups.

Qualifications

• At least four years of joint training experience.
• Experience with Joint Targeting Cycle.
• Graduate of Joint Targeting Staff Courses.
• Knowledge of collateral damage methodologies and DoD/JCS regulations.
• At least one year of adult training experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to develop and present briefings.
• Experience designing interactive web-based or blended-learning courses.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction for the Joint Targeting Staff Course (resident and virtual).
• Serve as a Joint Targeting SME during instruction, reviews, conferences, and meetings.
• Support instruction as part of a two-person team and independently when required.
• Review and recommend curriculum improvements.
• Apply ISD concepts when evaluating course materials.
• Assist with development of instructor guides, student guides, presentations, and assessments.
• Compile student test information and assist with certification of learning objectives.
• Support pre-course and post-course administrative requirements.
• Participate in curriculum review boards and Joint doctrine-related meetings.
• Prepare After Action Reports identifying issues and recommendations.
• Maintain professional standards when representing Chitra and supporting Government customers.
