Job summary

The GARRETT GROUP is seeking a highly experienced Senior Joint Military Planner to support strategic planning, operational design, and high-level coordination across joint and combined military operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Department of War processes and national-level strategies.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of experience in operations, plans, policy, strategy, assessments, or exercises within the Office of the Secretary of War and/or the Joint Staff.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Graduate of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Support development, integration, and assessment of joint and combined operational plans.
Conduct mission analysis, operational design, and strategic planning aligned with national defense objectives.
Coordinate with stakeholders across the Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and interagency partners.
Analyze and ensure alignment between national strategic documents and campaign plans.
Provide expertise in policy, strategy, assessments, exercises, and operational planning processes.
Contribute to senior-level planning efforts and strategic documents.
