Geo Owl seeks a J33 Special Operations Joint Fires Targeting Analyst in Tampa to support high-priority SOF missions. You will assist planning, coordination, and execution of Joint fires and targeting operations with DoD and interagency partners.

Expect to develop targets, synchronize efforts, and maintain mission readiness in a dynamic joint environment. Responsibilities include briefings, information papers, and presentations; travel as needed; and ensuring adherence to Joint targeting cycle

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Joint fires, targeting operations, or Special Operations planning and execution.
• Active TS/SCI required.
• Expert knowledge of Joint fires and targeting doctrine, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with the Joint Targeting Cycle (JTC) and Joint Publication 3-60.
• Experience coordinating targeting operations across military commands, combatant command components, and interagency organizations.
• Strong understanding of Joint operational planning, targeting prioritization, execution, and assessment.
• Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions and the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR).
• Experience preparing operational briefings, information papers, and presentations for senior military leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the senior Joint fires specialist for SOCCENT.
• Specialize in the development, planning, prioritizing targets and execution of full spectrum Special Operations targeting as defined in JP 3-60 and the Joint Fires Targeting Handbook.
• Coordinate and synchronize the targeting process with all CENTCOM Components and inter-agency in all aspects of theater and operational targeting.
• Enable strategic and operational level joint fires and targeting execution through subordinate commands by coordinating for the required approval authorities.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of Joint fires and targeting doctrine, policies, processes and procedures along with demonstrated experience with the Joint Targeting Cycle (JTC).
• Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations as required utilizing Microsoft Office family of products.
• Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.
• May perform travel CONUS/OCONUS (TDY status, attend conferences, planning efforts, OPTs with appropriate clearance levels, and exercises) as required and remain fully qualified and current with all specified training.
