Job summary

Air Combat Command seeks a civilian to design and execute joint training exercises at MAJCOM and multi-CCMD levels. The role requires applying JEP/JTS/AFFOR policies and coordinating with diverse staff to meet training objectives.

The successful candidate will handle crisis response planning, C2 concepts, and executive-level briefings to justify resources and maintain strategic partnerships, while upholding security requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joint Exercise Program, Joint Training System, and AFFOR staff training policies and tools.
• Familiarity with crisis response processes and C2 systems for exercise scenario development.
• Ability to plan, direct, mentor, motivate, and appraise a diverse workforce at executive levels.
• Ability to communicate and brief effectively to justify requirements and secure buy-in with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct staff functions across a multi-component, bi-national workforce.
• Coordinate joint training exercises (CPX/FTX) to meet approved objectives and strategic guidance.
