Job summary

Architects Orange LLP is seeking a Senior Job Captain - Production to lead project documentation from concept through construction, coordinating with Project Managers and design teams to deliver high-quality architectural work.

The role emphasizes production management, QA, and coordination of consultants, with responsibilities in Revit and production standards, mentorship of interns and drafters, and ensuring code compliance on complex projects in a fast-paced office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Job Captain or similar role.
• Architectural licensure preferred or actively pursuing licensure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project plans, schedules, and budgets with Project Managers and team members.
• Translate conceptual designs into construction documents (plans, elevations, sections, details, specs).
• Oversee drawing and documentation production and ensure quality.
• Support Construction Administration including RFIs, submittals, and site observations.
• Lead and mentor interns and drafters; manage team workloads.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and accessibility standards.
