Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing in Burlington, NC is seeking a Manufacturing team member responsible for advanced operations including material handling, assembly, inspection, MRO and engine test of aircraft engines.

Qualified candidates will have FAA Powerplant license, 6 years in aviation manufacturing or maintenance, and 5+ years jet engine maintenance experience is a bonus. Strong problem-solving and blueprint-reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• FAA Powerplant license is required or currently in process.
• Minimum 6 years in aviation manufacturing or a maintenance facility.
• 5+ years in jet engine maintenance is a bonus.
• Ability to interpret basic drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead training of associates and maintain engine kitting.
• Perform assembly and inspection to ensure 100% traceability.
• Support engine test preparation and data documentation.
• Utilize MES/ERP systems for shop floor workflows.
