Qualifications

• Six years of IT-related experience in hardware/software support, programming, network design, network engineering, IT systems integration, or closely related field.
• Experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases, implementing data integration solutions, and supporting complex enterprise system integrations.
• Experience designing scalable web applications.
• Experience defining architecture and development standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex Java-based applications and services within a multi-tier architecture.
• Define and support application architecture, design patterns, and development standards to promote consistency and maintainability.
• Design and oversee integrations across enterprise systems using APIs and service-oriented approaches.
• Support modernization initiatives, including transitioning legacy applications to modern frameworks such as React.
• Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and performance across all system components.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development across the team.
• Facilitate code reviews and promote best practices for application development and system design.
• Contribute to technology evaluation and selection in alignment with organizational goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and help shape technical solutions.
• Contribute to planning efforts and long-term application strategy.
