Job summary

Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Irving, TX to drive hands-on Java/Spring Boot development across the lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, translate complex requirements into scalable software, design configuration-driven capabilities with rules engines, and build reusable libraries and services for enterprise needs.

The role emphasizes deep Java/J2EE expertise, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, AWS cloud-native development, CI/CD, and secure coding

Qualifications

BS degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on Java development.
5+ years leading senior technical roles or equivalent.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive complex implementations.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on Java/Spring Boot development across the SDLC, including testing, deployment, and production support.
Translate requirements into working software and guide engineers through trade-offs and dependencies.
Design configuration-driven capabilities and integrate business rules engines.
Build shared libraries, reusable frameworks, SDKs, and services for consistency and maintainability.
Implement microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations with domain-driven design.
Develop Kafka producers/consumers with reliable event processing and resiliency patterns.
Develop and support AWS cloud-native apps and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
Apply secure coding practices and enable observability through logging/metrics/distributed tracing.
Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical leadership across teams.
