Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive hands-on design and delivery of complex software for the Labor Management of the Future (LMOF)/CREWS project. You will lead Java/Spring Boot development, design reusable frameworks, and own enterprise integrations in a hands-on leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including hands-on Java development.
• 8+ years hands-on Java development with Spring.
• 5+ years in a Senior Technical Lead or equivalent role.
• Mentor engineers and stay actively engaged in coding and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on Java/Spring Boot development across the SDLC, including reviews, tests, deployment, and production support.
• Translate business and technical requirements into implementable components and communicate trade-offs and risks.
• Design configuration-driven capabilities and implement rules engines and frameworks.
• Build shared libraries, reusable frameworks, SDKs, and services to improve consistency and delivery.
• Implement microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations with domain-driven design principles.
• Develop Kafka producers/consumers with reliable event processing and resiliency patterns.
• Model data, write complex SQL, and optimize database and app performance.
• Develop and support cloud-native apps in AWS, enhance CI/CD, and security practices.
• Apply secure coding, observability, and distributed tracing for reliability.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and hands-on development support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align with engineering standards.
