Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Technical Lead to architect and deliver complex software for Labor Management of the Future (LMOF)/CREWS. You will lead hands-on Java/Spring Boot development, guide engineers, and drive architecture across microservices, data models, and enterprise integrations.

You will mentor engineers, refine configurations and business rules, and strengthen CI/CD, security, and observability practices while collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering, with at least 8 years of hands-on Java development.
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise app development using Java, Spring Boot, REST services.
• 3+ years in a Senior Technical Lead / Lead Engineer role.
• Hands-on experience applying the required competencies to enterprise software delivery.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead complex implementations while actively coding.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on Java/Spring Boot development across the SDLC, including coding, reviews, tests, deployment, and production support.
• Translate requirements into implementable software components; guide engineers and assess approaches.
• Design configuration-driven capabilities and rule engines; separate configurable behavior from core code.
• Build shared libraries, reusable frameworks, SDKs, and services for consistency and efficiency.
• Implement microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations with proper architecture boundaries.
• Develop Kafka producers/consumers with reliable processing and error handling.
• Model data, write complex SQL and optimize performance.
• Develop cloud-native apps in AWS and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• Apply secure coding practices and observability via logging/metrics/tracing.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across environments; mentor through code reviews and hands-on support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver aligned solutions.
