Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• GPA of 3.0 or higher as a general rule
• Proficiency in designing well-architected software systems and modules that support new technology or improve capability/performance
• Experience researching fundamental problems and implementing appropriate algorithmic solutions
• Ability to serve as a lead software engineer for a complex project
• Ability to decompose requirements into well-defined tasks with quality and efficiency
• Strong Java with Spring background and object-oriented design knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as an individual contributor for Java software development
• Lead complex software design reviews and architect modules for new technology
• Break down functional requirements into well-defined tasks
• Research and implement algorithmic solutions to hard problems
• Offer peer technical assessments on new technologies and designs
