Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Developer, Vice President, to join Cross Asset Margin tech. Lead design, coding, and deployment of complex, regulatory-driven margin systems across cloud-native stacks, guiding a team to deliver robust, scalable applications.

You will collaborate with traders, risk managers and operations, ensuring high-quality software releases and adherence to governance and architecture standards.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of Apps Development with hands-on coding.
• Deep experience in Java, Spring, Kafka, and Ignite.
• Experience with relational DB (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• API-first design using REST, WebSocket, and gRPC.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong design patterns and enterprise architecture background.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert programming in line with architecture blueprint.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Lead design and development, coordinating with tech teams for governance.
• Guide team to improve development workflow and product rollout.
