Citi is seeking an FX Risk Java Tech Lead to drive technical excellence in building high-performance risk calculation systems within their global Markets technology team. This hybrid role is based in Tampa, Florida and requires expertise in Core Java, distributed systems, and technical leadership.

The ideal candidate will lead teams, mentor engineers, and ensure system reliability and performance. You will have ownership over systems across the SDLC and actively contribute to the financial markets operational success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Expert-level knowledge of Core Java and multithreading (JDK 11+).
• Proven experience architecting distributed, high-performance systems.
