Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight years of industry-recognized, progressive and relevant professional experience.
• Three years of specialized experience in the technologies and methodologies of the product platform processes.
• Leadership experience guiding a team through multiple releases of enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
• Strong understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies.
• Ability to design logic/algorithms and architect modules within a large system.
• Experience with n-tier enterprise systems (interface, domain logic, database).
• Proven knowledge of software languages and development practices.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and languages.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead and mentor other developers.
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and goal setting.
• Build and maintain relationships with other development teams for collaboration.
• Estimate time to develop and deliver features per product management.
• Participate in peer reviews of design and code.
• Develop source code and unit tests per designs.
• Contribute to team-wide development strategies.
• Provide classroom instruction on processes and new technologies.
• Document and train others on new knowledge.
• Provide formal training or pair programming with less-experienced engineers.
