Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Cary, NC seeks a hands-on software engineer to design, develop, and support technology solutions in the Accounting domain. You will work across the full software lifecycle with Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient applications.

You will build APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, SQL and data platforms, and drive CI/CD with Kubernetes/OpenShift while improving engineering standards and delivery practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on development of enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, ReactJS, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise with Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines for scalable deployments.
• Experience with big data tech (Spark/Hadoop) and databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB/Redis).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support applications within the Accounting technology landscape.
• Build, enhance, and support APIs, microservices, distributed applications, and data processing solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy on Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.
