Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III in the Corporate Sector to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable manner. You will contribute across the SDLC with emphasis on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices while leveraging AI-assisted tools for code quality and speed.

You will work within an agile team to develop secure software, analyze large data sets, and ensure reliable downstream systems, with opportunities to expand expertise in cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies (Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.
• Understanding of secure, scalable SDLC in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software design, development, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Writes secure, high-quality code with minimal guidance.
• Uses enterprise AI coding tools and validates outputs via peer review and testing.
• Designs and troubleshoots considering upstream/downstream systems.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to improve value and speed.
• Analyzes large data sets to identify issues and support secure development decisions.
• Learns system processes for secure, stable code and systems.
• Gains hands-on experience with event-driven architecture and distributed messaging (e.g., Kafka).
