Job summary
IdahoPTV in Boise, ID is seeking a Senior Java Software III Engineer to join the Application and Data Services team. You will design and develop scalable software solutions, lead technical initiatives, and leverage AI/ML capabilities to accelerate product development.
In this on-site role, you will work in a fast-paced, agile environment, contribute to code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical platforms.
Qualifications
- Typically gained by at least a bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent and 2+ years of related work experience.
- Typically gained by at least one course related to programming languages and software tools AND 18 months of experience using them.
- Experience documenting user requirements across development projects.
- Experience analyzing development solutions to show costs and benefits.
- Experience coding, testing, and deploying production systems.
- Experience establishing and defining development standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex software solutions and lead technical initiatives.
- Leverage AI/ML capabilities to accelerate development and improve products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platforms and products.
- Maintain and enhance production systems and fix production issues.
