Job summary

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in Java and modern technologies.
• Proficient with Java 17+ features and modern Java design patterns.
• Experience with microservices architecture; Spring Boot preferred.
• RESTful API development, consumption and integration.
• Experience with AWS cloud deployment and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications using core Java and Java 17+.
• Design and implement microservices with Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Integrate with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and optimize performance.
• Write unit and integration tests (JUnit/TestNG/Mockito).
• Create SQL queries and analyze data for development support.
• Adhere to clean code principles and create modular, reusable code.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Java apps; ensure security and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Follow Scrum Agile practices and participate in sprints and daily stand-ups.
• Use GitHub for version control and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with DevOps for AWS cloud deployment and infrastructure.
