NTT DATA seeks a Senior Java Quality Engineer to join an onsite team in Westlake, Texas. You will design and execute test strategies for web apps, APIs, and distributed systems, lead end-to-end test management, and collaborate with product, development, and DevOps to ensure high quality releases.

The role emphasizes automation with RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG, plus CI/CD using GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and SonarQube on Azure or AWS.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Agile development and Jira.
• 5+ years testing distributed applications.
• 6+ years in test automation design and execution.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot expertise and SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for web apps, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Lead end-to-end test management, including planning, estimation, execution, defects, and release validation.
• Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Spring Boot, and modern tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and cloud testing environments.
• Collaborate across Product, Business, Development, and DevOps to ensure quality in SDLC.
