Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the United States to advance platform capabilities, automation, observability, and engineering tooling. You will collaborate with In-Memory DB Platform, Core, and SRE teams to solve high-impact challenges and build scalable solutions.

You’ll contribute to automation, reliability, and developer productivity while reducing operational complexity across services and teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and production backend systems.
Experience with distributed data stores like Cassandra, Redis, Valkey, or MongoDB.
Experience designing RESTful services and high-performance backends.
Kubernetes experience and CI/CD automation knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and develop automation and platform tooling for scale and reliability.
Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, alerting, logs, and tracing.
Automate cluster lifecycle management, diagnostics, and workflows.
Investigate complex distributed-system issues and improve performance and reliability.
Build CI/CD automation to enable safe development and deployment of platform services.
Collaborate across Platform, Core, and SRE teams and document architecture.
