Job summary

GridCARE is hiring a hands-on senior full-stack engineer to own features end to end, from interactive workflows to data models and integrations. You will work with product and UX, while collaborating with backend, data, AI, and power systems teams to ship reliable product experiences.

You will partner with managers and designers to translate customer needs into fast iterations, balancing correctness, performance, and usability while building customer-facing grid capacity analysis tools.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js, React, Vite-based applications, or similar.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and backend-for-frontend patterns.
• Comfortable working with Python/FastAPI or similar backend frameworks, and with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Built data-intensive product experiences where correctness, performance, and usability all matter.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous requirements, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and ship useful increments quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own customer-facing product experiences for grid capacity analysis, project planning, and infrastructure decision workflows.
• Build and extend backend-for-frontend services and contribute to API design.
• Work with FastAPI services, PostgreSQL-backed data models, and internal platform systems to bring product features end to end.
• Partner with product managers and UX designers to translate customer needs into fast iterations and shipped product improvements.
• Collaborate with backend, data, AI, and power systems teams to turn complex technical outputs into clear, reliable product experiences.
