Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and leadership with Java, SpringBoot and J2EE.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven and real-time messaging.
• Strong Oracle DB design, development, and performance optimization.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes; Splunk for monitoring.
• GraphQL API design and integration.
• Agile/Scrum collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable domain-driven microservices.
• Ensure applications are self-healing and robust.
• Own sub-domain applications within Risk Technology.
• Collaborate with BAs and managers to understand BRDs/FRDs/SRs.
• Comprehend code flow and overall design through reviews.
• Develop solutions after comprehensive assessments.
• Plan work schedules and assign tasks for the team.
• Identify code changes to meet functionalities and maintain traceability.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings (local/global).
• Hands-on development with IDEs (IntelliJ) and SQL clients.
• Conduct unit/integration testing and support UAT/SIT.
• Manage source control, builds, and deployments as needed.
• Report project/task progress as required.
• Stay updated with industry trends and developments.
