Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an accomplished backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot in Raleigh, NC. You will develop RESTful APIs, leverage Kafka for event-driven architectures, and work with APIGEE Runtime Management for deployment and monitoring.

You will collaborate across teams, participate in architecture discussions, ensure security and performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience developing microservices and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Work with APIGEE Runtime Management for API deployment, monitoring, and management.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipeline setup, integration, and deployment processes.
• Integrate applications with cloud platforms and enterprise messaging systems.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams throughout the SDLC.
• Follow Agile development practices, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance, integration, and production issues.
