Job summary

Acestack in Irving, TX is seeking a Java Micro Services Developer with 10+ years of software development and leadership. The role is onsite and full-time, requiring strong expertise in Java, SpringBoot, J2EE, and microservices.

You will work with Kafka, Oracle DB, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and GraphQL integrations within an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient applications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development and technical leadership with Java, SpringBoot and J2EE.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Extensive experience with Apache Kafka for real-time messaging solutions.
• Strong Oracle DB design, development, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on CI/CD pipeline implementation using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes and Splunk for monitoring.
• Experience designing and developing GraphQL APIs and integration with enterprise apps.
• Proven Agile/Scrum experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Would be responsible to make application lean, mean and scalable by creating domain driven microservices.
• Application should be self-resilient, robust and self-healing.
• Take Ownership of all applications in the assigned sub domain within Risk Technology.
• Interacting with Business Analysts and managers to understand BRDs/FRDs/SRs.
• Complete understanding of application code through code compilation, walkthroughs, and execution flow.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions.
• Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team.
• Identify areas where code needs to change to meet functionalities and maintain traceability.
• Participate in design/review meetings-local/global.
• Hands on Development using IDEs such as IntelliJ & related plugsins, SQL Client etc.
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT/SIT support.
• Manage code check in/out, merge, build management as needed.
• Reporting on project/task progress as needed.
• Participate in all project planning, progress, & development meetings with the team & global managers.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments.

10+ years of software development and technical leadership with Java, SpringBoot and J2EE

Great Exposure to Microservices architecture

Extensive experience working with Apache Kafka for event-driven and real-time messaging solutions.

Strong expertise in Oracle Database (Oracle DB), including database design, development, and performance optimization.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment, utilizing tools such as Jenkins, LightSpeed, Docker, Kubernetes, and Splunk for monitoring and log analysis.

Experience designing and developing GraphQL APIs and integrating GraphQL services with enterprise applications.

Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and actively participating in all Scrum ceremonies to ensure successful project delivery.
