Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking a Specialist – Product Engineering (Java FSD) to drive backend and frontend development in a modern, scalable architecture. You will design, implement, and optimize Java Spring Boot microservices with Kafka, REST APIs, and data stores across relational and NoSQL databases.

You will collaborate with product teams, analysts and designers to deliver high-quality, secure solutions, while applying CI/CD and DevOps practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java Spring Boot Microservices.
• Mandatory Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with REST APIs messaging and event driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Frontend experience with ReactJS or Angular (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Payments or Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and containerized deployments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Java Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Develop and optimize Kafka producers, consumers, streams and event-driven architectures.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Implement secure, high-performance and resilient backend solutions.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Ensure application security, reliability and scalability.
• Develop responsive web applications using ReactJS or Angular; integrate frontend with backend APIs.
• Implement modern UI/UX practices and reusable components.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers and product teams.
