Job summary

Flexton Inc. is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join our backend team in Sunnyvale, CA. You will work on scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot, building microservices and REST APIs, and implementing event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka.

The role requires hands-on experience with SQL databases, Git, and CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams in an Agile environment, contribute to code reviews, testing, and deployments, and help

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software development.
Hands-on experience with Java.
Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
Strong experience with Apache Kafka.
Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Git and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and develop microservices and REST APIs.
Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
Develop Kafka producers and consumers and work with topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
Work with SQL databases and optimize queries when needed.
Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
