Job summary

Agility Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable enterprise Java/J2EE applications. You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions and collaborate across teams to deliver cloud-first solutions.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Java/J2EE, strong Spring experience, AWS cloud architecture, and Terraform IaC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java/J2EE development for enterprise-level applications.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework (Boot/Cloud/Security).
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and Terraform IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Architect and deploy solutions leveraging AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, API Gateway).
• Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate AWS provisioning.
• Develop and consume RESTful web services ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
