Innova Solutions is hiring a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid on-site role requires three days in-office and involves architecture, microservices, REST APIs, and modern full-stack delivery.

The ideal candidate has Java backend expertise, React 18 experience, and a track record delivering enterprise modernization within financial services. AI-assisted tooling and cloud-native practices are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
• Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java, with strong expertise in architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in microservices, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable design.
• Hands-on experience with Python and contributing across the full stack.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills within Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for modernization initiatives.
• Drive microservices design, REST API development, database strategy, and performance optimization.
• Enforce coding standards and engineering best practices, including AI-assisted methods.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Make technical decisions, assess risks, and govern solutions across teams.
• Support Agile delivery with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production support.
• Ensure security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability in banking environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Governance, Risk, and Compliance transformations.
