Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer for Wilmington, DE on a contract-to-hire basis (6+ months). You will design, develop, and troubleshoot software, build scalable microservices on internal and public cloud, and collaborate across regions.

Requirements include 3+ years in software engineering, strong Java and Spring, REST, and React/ Angular, plus experience with CI/CD, TDD, and cloud development; IntelliJ experience and knowledge of databases (Cassandra, PostgreSQL) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques
• Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software
• Strong Core Java and Java Web Application development knowledge
• Experience building REST services using Java, Spring
• Know the TDD approach of designing micro services and writing JUnit test cases using any mocking framework, as well as good exposure to performance tuning java micro services
• Experience with IDE (Integrated Development Environment), including using IntelliJ for development and local testing/debugging and experience Running/debugging an application locally

Responsibilities

• Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality
• Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java and React/Angular
• Build Microservices that will run on the bank's internal cloud and the public cloud platform
• Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones
• Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
• Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, products, and financial services
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, to improve delivery flow across product and technology
