Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of next-generation electronic trading systems within a high-performing Trade Management Engineering group.

You will architect distributed, event-driven platforms optimized for low latency and high throughput, collaborate across internal and external teams, mentor engineers, and drive platform performance, scalability, and resilience. Remote contract role with W2 benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of hands-on software design and development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Python, and Linux.
• Deep experience with low latency messaging systems such as 29West or Kafka.
• Proficiency in KDB+ or other time-series databases.
• Background in building scalable, distributed, asynchronous, and event-driven applications.

Aufgaben

• Architect and develop distributed, event-driven trading systems optimized for low latency and high throughput.
• Design and implement asynchronous processing frameworks and resilient messaging services.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver robust, end-to-end trading workflows.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization efforts across the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Support production and non-production environments, including participation in a weekly on-call rotation.
