Job summary

Cognizant in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with Angular for a hybrid role. You will develop full-stack apps using Angular on the frontend and Spring Boot on the backend, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and design RESTful APIs while ensuring performance and security.

This position requires strong skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, and experience with CI/CD and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Angular and Spring Boot to build full-stack applications.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Backend development using Java, Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and ORM tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Version control with Git.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and support during critical phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Angular (frontend) and Spring Boot (backend).
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred).
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver seamless UX.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Provide technical support during critical project phases or tight deadlines.
