Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Engineer to join the B&MI Technology team in the US. You will develop enterprise applications using Java and frontend JS frameworks, participate in requirements gathering, and ensure designs align with enterprise architecture.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience, strong Java/J2EE, SQL/NoSQL, and cloud exposure; you will collaborate with partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions and support PCI and other compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Eng./equivalent.
• 7+ years of industry experience.
• Strong communication across organizational levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with adaptability.
• Self-motivated, structured, and delivery-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications using Java and front-end React/Angular.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Align designs with Mastercard’s Enterprise Architecture and standards.
• Ensure scalable, secure cloud architectures (AWS) and production readiness.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver on roadmaps and product definitions.
• Maintain documentation and adherence to PCI and other compliance requirements.
