Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Java Fullstack Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications in a multi-location US footprint. You will deliver Java microservices, REST APIs, and modern UIs, while driving DevOps automation and secure, high-performance systems for large enterprise users.

The role requires strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and frontend React/TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern software engineering practices.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces with front-end frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs with security and scalability in mind.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP services.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and solution evaluations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve delivery and quality.
