Job summary

TD Securities' Global Prime Brokerage team seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Developer in New York. You will design, build, and maintain scalable Java-based solutions, delivering secure and reliable platforms for brokerage customers.

Responsibilities include coding, reviews, testing, and production support, with a focus on modern architecture and secure practices. The role emphasizes ownership and long-term platform health within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (11+) and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, SQL development.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture and deployment considerations.
• Hands-on experience with React and modern front-end practices.
• Experience with reference data handling and data reconciliation in finance.
• Experience with Broadridge BPSA/Gloss/Impact data models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java full stack solutions aligned to enterprise standards.
• Write clean, well-tested code and ensure timely delivery with quality reviews.
• Provide production support during testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• Participate in peer code reviews and promote code quality and maintainability.
• Follow secure coding standards to reduce vulnerabilities and strengthen security posture.
• Identify and recommend development and testing tools to improve efficiency.
• Complete unit, integration, and regression testing per design requirements.
• Support governance, risk, and cost estimation activities.
