The Role:

Cognizant seeks an experienced and innovative Senior Java Developer responsible for designing and architecting high-performance Java-based enterprise systems. The role involves collaborating with business and IT teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient solutions, defining architecture guidelines, and making technology decisions aligned with long-term business goals.

Location: Columbus, OH (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Understand software development principles and best practices.
• Possess full-stack development experience.
• Be skilled in front-end technologies, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Utilize DevOps and Cloud tools (e.g., Apigee, AWS, Kubernetes, GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Node.js, Ranchers).
• Design, build, and support APIs.
• Drive cross-team collaboration and project execution.

Required qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of software development principles.

Salary and Application Details:

Applications accepted until June 21, 2025. The annual salary ranges from $68,422 to $114,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance.
