Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a role in the financial industry in Newark, Delaware. This hybrid position requires strong Java/J2EE skills and experience delivering scalable enterprise solutions in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

You will work with business and technology partners to design, develop, and implement RESTful services, Microservices, and integration layers, following best practices and the full SDLC in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of overall experience, preferably in the financial industry.
• Java/J2EE and Object-Oriented design and programming.
• Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, or Spring Integration.
• Experience with at least one ORM/Persistence Framework such as iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, Kafka, or JPA.
• SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, Micro Services (CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS), JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency with source control tools like Bit Bucket, Subversion (SVN), or Perforce.
• Experience with Maven, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), JUnit, and Mockito.
• Familiarity with IDEs such as Eclipse or RAD.
• Knowledge of at least one RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server).
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or MQ.
• Experience with Agile/Iterative development and the full SDLC.
