B4Corp in Bethesda, MD, seeks a senior Software Engineer to lead full-stack Java development within a TS/SCI clearance framework. You will drive major deliverables across the software lifecycle, emphasizing design, testing, and cloud-based solutions in an Agile DevOps environment.

Ideal candidate has 8–12 years of experience with Java stack, microservices, AWS, and strong communication skills. The role follows a standard 9am–4pm core hours, with on-site work in Bethesda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years.
• Substantial full-stack development in Java, SpringBoot, JavaScript, Python, Bootstrap, AngularJS, ReactJS.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud implementations, using AWS.
• Use of Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting.
• Substantial experience with MapReduce, Oozie, Hadoop.
• Proficient in Agile practices and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software programming initiatives using Java and related tech across the SDLC.
• Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods (JUnit, Katalon).
• Coordinate closely with customers, Scrum Masters, and cross-functional teams; report status.
• Analyze data to coordinate installation of new systems or modifications.
• Support the Agile software development lifecycle and build artifacts deployment.
• Leverage GitFlow and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) to track activities.
• Create innovative solutions to meet client technical needs.
