Job summary

B4Corp in Bethesda, MD seeks a Java Developer with TS/SCI clearance to design, develop and maintain scalable backend microservices. You will work in a DevOps-enabled environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires strong Java/Spring experience, familiarity with cloud platforms, and a solid understanding of Agile practices. Core hours are 9am–4pm, with on-site work in Bethesda.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required.
• Strong Java backend development experience with Spring Framework.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Git/Jenkins workflows.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure; data services like S3/RDS.
• Agile software development lifecycle experience and strong collaboration with Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend microservices in Java/Spring.
• Lead code reviews and contribute to software development initiatives.
• Develop test methods with JUnit/Katalon and automate deployments.
• Prototype and deploy cloud-based solutions leveraging platform services.
• Coordinate with team and Scrum roles to align User Stories with customer use cases.
• Document systems software development and manage builds across environments using GitFlow and DevOps tools.
