B4Corp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer based in Bethesda, MD. This role requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers a salary of up to $235,000 per year.

You will contribute to design, development, testing and deployment of critical software in a DevOps framework, working across Java, Python, and cloud platforms. The position expects extensive experience in Agile, DevOps, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), with collaboration across Product Owners and Scrum Masters to deliver

Formación

• Proficient experience in Agile practices and DoD style environments.
• Proficient experience with Java, Spring, C2S and the software development lifecycle; delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices.
• Experience with software testing tools like Junit and Katalon; scripting in Python and Bash in an Agile setting.
• Experience developing on Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data services (S3, RDS, EFS).
• Strong experience with version control and issue tracking systems.
• Education/experience as stated: HS diploma with 12+ years; BS with 8+ years; MS with 6+ years.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in software programming initiatives using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Develops software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon; supports automated deployment technologies.
• Develop, prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions leveraging infrastructure platform services.
• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to align User Stories with customer use cases.
• Support the Agile software development lifecycle using DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Unix bash scripting and JIRA/Confluence.
