The position focuses on the Java business layer of a high-performance trading platform used to trade stocks, futures, options, and other instruments in real time. The role requires strong Java expertise, multithreading skills, and experience with REST, WebSockets, and FIX.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with multithreading and low-latency programming.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features across the trading application, focusing on the Java layer.
• Integrate with backend services over REST, WebSockets, and FIX.
• Participate in the full SDLC including tests, code reviews, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and developers to translate requirements into software.
• Document code and designs clearly for future maintenance.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
• Stay current with relevant tools and patterns to improve the platform.
