Job summary

Akina Inc seeks a Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot a suite of software applications at Fort Meade, MD. You will design, test, and integrate software with COTS/FOSS, lead teams, and contribute to system performance using Java/J2EE and Spring frameworks.

The role requires experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, plus collaboration with system and hardware engineers to define requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 5+ years as SWE in similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline with 7+ years as SWE in similar scope.
• 9 years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot software applications.
• Design, code, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex software systems.
• Lead one or more software development teams.
• Analyze requirements and perform design, performance, and interface trade-offs.
• Develop data queries and work with relational and non-relational databases.
