Job summary

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in Java/J2EE, strong Spring/REST API skills, SQL databases, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+ and OOP.
• Hands-on with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
• RESTful APIs and microservices development experience.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA/JDBC and database integration.
• Advanced SQL experience with Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD process familiarity.
• JUnit/Mockito/REST Assured or similar testing tools.
• Agile/Scrum knowledge and SDLC understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with internal and external enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable components.
• Analyze requirements and participate in solution design.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and support database development.
• Perform unit, integration, and API testing.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support deployments and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, architects, analysts, and project teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
