Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Plano, TX is seeking a senior software engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and development using Java/SpringBoot microservices. The role requires deep Java/J2EE, REST, SOAP, XML, and OOAD expertise, plus Spring Boot, CI/CD, Jira, Jenkins testing, and strong DB exposure (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB).

You will lead UI work with React/Next/VueJS and coordinate with UX designers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and development using Java/SpringBoot Microservices.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, UML, and OOAD.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, Jira, and JUnit testing.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL and NoSQL like MongoDB.
• UI expertise including ReactJS/NextJS/VueJS, HTML5, CSS3, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Cloud tech like AWS and Kubernetes, plus Apache Kafka and MuleSoft integration.
• Coordination with UX, testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma), and RESTful service integration.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance UI-driven applications.
• Knowledge of SEO practices and performance tuning for UI applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java/SpringBoot microservices architecture.
• Implement RESTful services and integrate with external systems.
• Develop responsive UI using ReactJS/NextJS/VueJS, HTML5, CSS3.
• Optimize performance and conduct testing with Jasmine/Karma.
• Collaborate with UX designers and QA to ensure quality delivery.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git workflows.
• Operate with AWS/Kubernetes and implement Kafka/MuleSoft integrations.
• Maintain data models across Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL and NoSQL databases.
