You will work on highly available, transactional systems, taking ownership from design through production and shaping architecture while improving observability and capacity planning.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Java/JEE development experience, ideally with multi-user, highly transactional systems.
• Experience with Java, Spring, REST APIs, SQL, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Docker, Tomcat and messaging technologies
• Strong knowledge of system design, software architecture, and distributed systems.
• Ability to turn requirements into practical technical solutions and write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to critically review and adapt AI-generated output.
• Strong fluency in English (B2+ level/upper-intermediate).

• Design and implement solutions from conception through to production.
• Build and improve highly available, distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot critical issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, monitoring, and observability.
• Assess the impact of third-party integrations on system performance, security, and scalability.
• Translate requirements into clear functional and technical solutions.
