Job summary

Akaasa Infotech Noida is seeking a Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will work on Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and databases.

This is a contractual, 100% remote position with flexible shifts including UK and US EST, requiring collaboration with architects, QA, and other developers to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java development experience required.
• Strong Core Java and OO programming.
• Hands-on with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• SQL with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases.
• Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container tech.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Integrate applications with databases and external systems.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, BAs, and developers.
• Support releases and production issues.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and planning.
