Job summary

NEPSE Trading in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Java Developer to build our software product using Java, Vert.x, RxJava, Groovy, Couchbase, and Kafka. This is a 100% remote role with English fluency required and office hours aligned with UK time.

You will work in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban), mentor peers, lead design discussions, and contribute to production support, incident resolution, and automation in a CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master degree is required.
5+ years of Java development experience.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

Implement end-to-end systems using JVM, frameworks and tool ecosystem.
Translate requirements into tasks and develop test-driven features.
Apply SOLID principles to create well-structured, maintainable software.
