Qualifications

• Hands-on Java development in a web-based environment.
• Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL and Flyway expertise.
• CI/CD using Jenkins or GitLab and DevSecOps practices.
• Production support and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Apply DevSecOps practices throughout delivery.
• Build/maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or GitLab.
• Implement automated testing and quality gates.
• Integrate security checks into pipelines.
• Manage database versioning with Flyway.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Support integration efforts and coordinate with security/ops/architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain coding standards.
• Identify AI opportunities while meeting governance requirements.
• Design and develop Java web applications using Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs (and SOAP where needed).
